Bergen

Bergen was on my 'quick...am leaving norway, must do stuff' list. its a picturesque town on the west coast of norway, 8 hours drive from oslo..or 35 mins on the plane. (i flew). have quite a few friends in bergen, most of them old friends from oslo, also met up with another really good friend Gunn Elin. my mum also decided to come across, she and peter got a ferry from the uk to bergen, so got to spend a bit of time with her also. sunday was arriving and then dinner with mum and a few beers with mates after. i took a couple of much needed days holiday on monday and tuesday. monday, everyone except gunn was working, so monday i went with gunn and mum and peter for a 'hike' and a potter around bergen. bergen i have to add is officially one of the wettest places on earth. last year it rained for 210 consecutive days! the record on bergen is 260 days of rain in a single year! incredibly though we had glorious sunshine...pics below
