Maharagers Palace
compared to some of the sights we'd seen, this was quite 'ordinary'...although looking back that seems like a crass thing to say. the man painting paints fine brush paintings, using single hairs, they are really amazing. i bought a picture of an elephant for about £15 which is quiet cheap, but then again, it was signed by the artist with my name on...(we later found the same paintings in udaipur for £3...humph
the single guard in the photo made me laugh, i was taking a picture of the building, and when he saw me, he jumped up from his nap, and posed, as i walked past he demanded money for taking his photo. now, ordinarily, we gave money to just about anyone, this guy though i didnt...thought that was a bit too cheeky
the silver jug had a similar one next to it, and were described by our guide as the 'biggest jugs in the world'...i cursed my infantile english humour at that point
