Leaving Fatehpur Sikri...well trying to

we made a swift getaway from the children selling trinkets...i was scammed, i bought a wooden elephant...which was '10 sir 10 sir'....10 rupees wasnt so bad so i took it from him, at which point he said $10...hmmmm....a little batering later i purchased a wooden elephant for $5....lesson learned methinks

after a speedy getaway on a horse and cart, i saw a bus full of tourists being surrounded by sellers..oh how i laughed as i took there photo....unfortunately, i scuffed my shoe which mad a noise, and they turned around in unison and almost zombie like descended upon me....i turned sharply, telling kamala to 'walk fast...just walk'.

we outran them all apart from a small boy who wouldnt take no for an answer. finally i gave him a $1 (good currency for locals, worth a significant amount, almost a weeks wages for some)...so we took his and his friends photo. much to our amusement, he took the $1, (i had no rupees at that time) and in almost perfect english, sternly told me that 'he was not a bank you know'
