1st 8km
After having only done 3 training runs (1x8km, 1x10km and one horrible 15km on the treadmill) i wasnt really expecting to do well, and was aiming for 2:10 or something, which was about 6 mins per km. surprisingly after a few k's i was averaging about 5:30 mins per km..and i felt pretty great...i was actually rpetty shocked and was almost enjoying it!
the view for the first half however..was awful, the course ran alongside the fjord, but to the east of oslo where all the big docks were, and was probably the least scenic part of the whole of norway...why oh why?
