Weekend
Strange weekend in that i had to work saturday all day, so friday was a non starter, saturday night was my friend justine's birthday, went to the usual haunts in niigata. niigata has a very limited number of drinking establishments, ie 4. was a good night, and made it til 3.30am til i had to get a taxi home half asleep. today a few (15ish) of justines friends went for a curry at lunch. came home at 6ish, and went for an hours training run, felt pretty good and was a little warmer than last week....jeez, this entry is dull! apologies, but have to stop, am boring myself! (note to self, only write on this thing when you have done something news worthy!)
the mountains around niigata are now snow capped quite heavily, looks amazing, will take photos then i get the chance...only 2 more week til snowboarding season starts! and 4 more days til i get new car!

..in breaking news, Justine B Anbeek turned 27, a fun fuelled night ensued with dancing, laughter and music. a not unsignificant number of people partied into the wee small hours to celebrate this highly important event. a curried lunch followed the following day where extra tables had to be drafted in to cope with the multitudinous hoardes of friends of miss anbeek. again, much fun was had, especially at john, who lost the ability to control his mouth muscles due to the severity of the strength of his 'hot' curry. afterwards, a spot of subaru shopping for miss anbeek, followed by a trip to the 'mall' for a much needed starbucks. tired but happy, the revellers made their way back to miss anbeeks for a photo review of the previous night's antics...(the highlight being the photos of anna falling asleep in johns lap (face down) on the 5.30am first train home. much fun was had by all, and all must have slept very well indded last night....' sorry, was too tired to be enthusiastic about anything last night. happy birthday again mate.
Happy B'day to Justine too. Hmm.. didn't know Glen could write news. :P

when i wrote you looked like a wax figure it was actually kind of a compliment. in fact, lins and anna and i were sitting around tonight looking at the pics and marveling at how photogenic you are. see now you've got a compliment from me in writing.
