KL to Penang

a very familiar drive this one...we drove from kl to penang where the wedding was taking place...passing Tanjung Malim...the home of Proton...our dear former employer...when i say dear, i mean that in the most ironic fashion...there was no love lost, trust me...rich kids who know nothing about bulding cars buying lotus as a toy play thing and trying to teach lotus how to make cars..eeuughhh...anyway...bitterness aside...i used to make this hour long journey daily. we actually hired a proton for the drive, the top of the range Gen 2...which i have to say is the single worst car that i have ever ever driven...it was lucky to make it the 4 hour drive in one piece.

the actual drive north is stunning in places, its basically a road cut in the middle of the jungle...beautiful scenery
