Mederka Square

the scene of the handover of sovereignty from those pesky British to the Malaysians 51 years ago, and as it was hari raya...it was festooned (my new favourite word) with malaysian flags. as javier quite rightly put it, this wasnt really a holiday but a nostalgia tour...which was all very nice, but in hindsight, seeing somewhere new might have been nice...ah well
