Fun bag!
perhaps the most scariest and most fun thing in the world! now, im a relative beginner to snow boarding, and am admittedly im ok, but not brilliant.
we had heard rumours of this big inflatable bag on a big jump, and our eyes lit up when we saw it. its basically pain and consequence free jumps. now the biggest jump ive ever done, was about 3 inches off the ground last year (it felt like 3 feet, but on video reflection...it was pathetic, thanks kat).
my legs were actually shaking with fear before my first attempt, so the only thing to do is to crank up the ipod to full volume and go for it (Monster by The Automatic in this case). the first attempt was hilarious, having no clue what to do i flew up the ramp, and (now i understand, wrongly) leant back, and did half a back flip and landed on my head. the second attempt (from the photo) was much better....and got better as the day went on...still, scared the life out of me, but sooo much fun!
Geilo part deux
Just been flicking back through pervious posts...and seems to be a boring amount of snow, mountain and boarding posts...well...as my time seems to be spent in the office, in an airport, in a homogenous hotel, at home, or boarding..the snowy pics are really the only interesting thing i do at the mo.
after 2 weeks in the uk, i went up to Geilo again for a weekend of log cabins, and snow. was clever enough to go on the train this time, AND had the sunday as well. again we had incredible weather, clear blue skies and sun.
saturday morning was not massive fun as it was extremely icy on the slopes...but it kinda got better once the sun climbed over the mountain

Wiiiiiiiiiiiii!!
Sunday i played my first ever Nintendo Wii. Now i'm usually a playstation boy, but had sooo much fun on the Wii, firstly on sunday mornimg at my house with ryan and lucy, then all afternoon at the Betts's. The Betts's are lovely lovely people. They are the guitarist in Weeble's family...but always look after me like their own, and i always make it over there when im back. so i spent a lovely afternoon getting fed sunday lunch, chatting and playing the Wii...such a lovely day, and was gutted to have to leave to drive back down to Bristol...actually at amsterdam airport on the way back to oslo, i bought a Wii for myself
Saturday night
Met up with a few mates in our usual haunt Junktion 7, which is actually owned by Tami's sister, and is the best rock music venue in town, and a great night out. Was so cool to see mates again....and again vowed not to leave it so long next time
the gig poster is a gig for Weeble (of which i am still in...despite the distance), and will probably be my next gig i reckon...hopefully
