Day 2 (am) Kyoto- Nijo Castle

built in 1603, this castle has special 'nightingale' floors, that were designed to make a noise like a bird if you walk on them, this was to warn against intruders. the weather for the whole trip was simply amazing, and it was the week of the cherry blossom everywhere we went. cherry blossom comes out for 2 weeks per year, and we were so lucky to be going when it was out everywhere. we hardly saw a cloud in the sky all week
