A long time ago, in a country far far away...

so...where to begin? i guess as i havent spoken to some people for a while, i better give a brief synopsis of life since i left the uk in october 2004....as most people recollect i ran away to malaysia to work for lotus cars, leaving behind family, great friends, a company jaguar :-( and the greatest god damn ska punk band in the world!

anyways, malaysia was a life changing experience, it was my first time outside of europe, and i had no idea what to expect, but i met some amazing people, hopefully who i will keep in touch with! and see again soon. i visited some truly amazing places, and saw some truly amazing things. highlights?? well, perhentian will always be a special place and probably my favourite in the world, singapore, kl itself is incredible, the malaysian driving! bribing the police (how scarey was the first time??) my dear argentinian friends, my english friends also, getting the chance to spend time in cambodia which was a truly life changing place - people who have nothing who live in literally straw and wooden houses who are the most genuinely happy, content, polite and nicest people in the world...kinda puts everything into perspective, er luna bar, my 3rd most favourite place on the planet, beach club...(least said)...twin towers always gave me goosebumps looking at them up close, dinner in the revolving (or revolting...) restaurant on top of the kl tower, sri hartamas square, tsb..and those chocolate volcano's, elephants, caves, the malaysian philharmonic orchestra...possible the worst football team ever!....aaah, must stop this self indulgent nostalgia...suffice to say i have some amazing memories from kl. it was sad to go, and sadly not my/our decision to go..but all things come to an end....and end it did. i/we moved back to the uk in july. when i/we went our separate ways. one to london to a great new job and life, and one to japan.....so begins another adventure....
