Aberdeen

Due to a pretty significant promotion at work in November, I spend a considerable amount of my time travelling around. I am now head of department for Europe and Africa, which means visiting my various teams across the continent. This sounds better than it is, as it usually involves getting up for a flight at 4am, travelling all weekend, jet lag, lost luggage, and generally unhelpful french security staff. Every so often there is a nice trip. I was in Aberdeen for a few days last week, and managed to get an hour before a flight to take a quick early morning (very early) stroll on Aberdeen beach.
