"So long...and thanks for all the fish (and rice)..."

well, tis now official. I'm leaving Japan. Found out officially yesterday that my company is closing down. Long long complicated story, and it's kinda been coming for a while, and for all those who knew of the seemingly never ending saga of 'we'll know today/tomorrow/next week/next month' etc... well, we know now. I'm staying in Japan to help with the closure and ths shipment of the whole factory back to the UK in a big box. I finish work mid march, and should be out of japan by the end of march.

I guess for anyone who knows me at all, you'll know how much i dearly love japan, niigata and all my friends and life here, and to be honest, im pretty gutted, well, very gutted to be honest, but theres nothing i can do about it...

Plans for the future?...none at the moment, although i have an iron in the fire somewhere else in asia that might come off, but we'll see... my only plan at the moment is to try and not have to move back to the uk...i just feel thats its not my time to do that yet...

Ive got a list of things that i want to do in japan before i leave, so i guess ill be spending the next 8 weeks trying to tick as many boxes as i possibly can...

So there you go, nothing more to say really, apart from...well.........bugger
