Niigata Brass Orchestra

went to the swanky new arts centre in niigata today. my friend and translator tomomi plays flute in the niigata brass orchestra, so a few of us went to support her. it was a 65 piece orchestra, and was absolutely wonderful, had the hair on the back of my neck standing up at some moments, they played classical and more contemporary numbers. was so so so good, had such a good time. felt bad for not picking up my own trumpet in a couple of weeks, note to self: practice more!
