Monday...(very)

the lone persimmon fruit has died. i for one am wearing an orange arm-band today, i trust you will too.

japanese traditionally have difficulty in saying 'R's and 'L's...this is a true fact.

the highlight of my day was in a meeting where i had to teach my intepretor the word 'parallelism' ...made me laugh anyway. would have been funnier if it hadnt taken me 4 attempts to pronounce it correctly myself.

Smug persimmons? Pack them & ship them over. They won't be so smug then. :P

They pronounce "v" as "b" too me thinks. I gulped down air and bit my lip to stifle a guffaw when a guy exclaimed "unbelievable!" with gusto.
